Q.1 What will be the result if the trees are not taken care of ?
(यदि पेड़ों की देखभाल नहीं की गई तो परिणाम क्या होगा?)
Ans. Human life will be endangered if the trees are not cared of.
(यदि पेड़ों की देखभाल नहीं की गई तो मानव जीवन खतरे में पड़ जाएगा। )
Q.2 What does the poet mean by 'Whispering of leaves would go silent' ?
('पत्तों की फुसफुसाहट खामोश हो जाएगी' से कवि का क्या तात्पर्य है?)
Ans. 'Whispering of leaves would be silent' means the death of the trees. The whispering of trees will be heard no more which is due to the fluttering of leaves caused by the wind.
('पत्तों की फुसफुसाहट खामोश हो जाएगी' यानी पेड़ों की मौत। पेड़ों की फुसफुसाहट अब सुनाई नहीं देगी जो हवा के कारण पत्तियों के फड़फड़ाने के कारण होती है।)
Q.3 Where does the poet pile rubbish upon rubbish ?
(कवि कूड़े को कहाँ डालता है?)
Ans. Now in a dusty landscape, the poet piles up rubbish like paints and plastic material to make an artificial tree.
(अब धूल भरे परिदृश्य में, कवि एक कृत्रिम पेड़ बनाने के लिए पेंट और प्लास्टिक सामग्री जैसे कचरे को ढेर कर देता है।)

Ans. Man created tree cannot look like a real tree as it will not blossom.
(मानव निर्मित पेड़ एक वास्तविक पेड़ के समान नहीं दिखता, क्योंंकिवह पुष्पित नहीं होगा ।)
Q.5 Why do you think the tree is not stirred despite all efforts ?
( आपको क्या लगता है तमाम कोशिशों के बावजूद पेड़ हिलता क्यों नहीं है?)
Ans. The tree does not stir because it is an artificial tree.
( यह पेड़ हिलता नहीं है क्योंकि यह एक कृत्रिम पेड़ है।)
Q.6 How do the trees sing? (पेड़ कैसे गाते हैं ?)
Ans. When the wind blows, the leaves and the branches move and produce sound which looks like singing of trees.
(जब हवा चलती है तो शाखाएं तथा पत्तियॉं हिलती डुलती हैं तथा आवाज पैदा करती हैं जो संगीत के समान जान पड़ती है।)
Q.7 Explain the word 'weary' in the last stanza of the poem.
(कवि के अंतिम पद में आये बीअरी शब्द की व्याख्या कीजिए।)
Ans. Weary means fatigued and tired, but in the last stanza of the poem, it means that the artificial tree will not move.
(बीअरी शब्द का अर्थ थका हुआ है पर यहॉं पर इसका अर्थ है कि नकली पेड़ हिलेगा नहीं।)
Q.8 What is the message of the poem in respect to Nature's conservation?
(प्रकृति संरक्षण के संबंध में कविता का क्या संदेश है?)
Ans. Trees play a significant role in human life as the world would look lifeless without tree. Hence more trees should be planted and conserved so the balance is maintained in the ecosystem. Indeed we owe a great deal to the trees hence they should be protected as well.
( पेड़ मानव जीवन में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं क्योंकि पेड़ के बिना दुनिया बेजान दिखेगी। इसलिए अधिक से अधिक पेड़ लगाए जाने चाहिए और उनका संरक्षण किया जाना चाहिए ताकि पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र में संतुलन बना रहे। वास्तव में हम पर पेड़ों का बहुत बड़ा ऋण है इसलिए उनकी सुरक्षा भी की जानी चाहिए। )
